For the better part of Wednesday, March 8, 2023, DJ Fatxo was trending following the mysterious death of a 23-year-old man in his house.
According to a statement at Kasarani Police Station, DJ Fatxo and two other men identified as his cousin and driver said Geoffrey Mwathi allegedly fell from the 10th floor of Redwood Apartments along USIU Road.
Following the incident, the entertainer has been put at the center of Mwathi’s death, and some companies that worked with DJ Fatxo have cut ties for fear of bad press.

Lesedi Developers, now Tuza, is a real estate company selling lands and plots in different parts of the country.
The company contracted DJ Fatxo as its brand ambassador in August 2021, and he was announced in a small ceremony at the company’s offices.
The agreement was to have the entertainer sensitizing the youth on the opportunities available to own land and houses.
For the better part of 2021, DJ Fatxo would visit different sites from time to time and urge his fans to buy land.
Vodka Sweet Berry
Vodka Sweet Berry is a triple distilled vodka drink packaged in 250 ml and 750 ml bottle sizes.
The drink is manufactured and distributed by Zheng Hong, a fully licensed alcohol manufacturing company located in Industrial Area, Nairobi.
Other brands by the company include Dallas Gin, Blue Waves, Dallas Brandy, Jambo Extra Vodka, Tycoon Blended Vodka, Jambo Ice Vodka, Maotai Vodka and Tycoon Whiskey.
DJ Fatxo worked with the brand in 2021.
Optiven
Optiven Group is a leading real estate firm selling prime plots in parts of Kiambu, Malindi, Thika, Machakos, Kitengela and Nyeri.
They also sell lands in Nanyuki, Kisumu, Naivasha, Naro Moru, Malindi, Konza and Kajiado.
The entertainer entered a partnership deal with the brand to market their projects. DJ Fatxo also attended any events organized by the company.
