Distasteful conduct, expired passport & deportation
Elwin Ter Horst’s distasteful conduct inside Diani Police Station was captured on video. Soon, the clip went viral with Kenyans infuriated and calling for him to be charged.
He was captured swearing, and insulting a male police officer inside the station’s reporting area. A visibly agitated Ter Horst went ahead and snorted mucus onto the police officer. Then he disgustingly wiped his hands on the officer’s trousers.
“Shut the f**k up! I don’t want to see your ugly face anymore! Out of my office! Now! Leave! Leave!”,” he fumed.
Ter Horst had been arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. He had been detained at the station on Tuesday evening while drunk and was expected to be arraigned in court to answer to charges of assault, malicious damage to property, creating a disturbance, and possession of narcotics.
It has been established that the Dutch National was in the country illegally and his passport had expired. Security agencies in Kenya are currently processing his deportation.
After the incident, Horst expressed remorse and said that his poor conduct had been triggered by psychosis. He also alleged that he had not had water and food for a ‘long time.’
