Kitengela municipality is an economic powerhouse. It is located approximately 50 kilometres south of Nairobi and forms part of the greater metropolitan area. The municipality has posh estates that have houses going for millions of shillings.

This estate is located along Chuna road off the Kitengela – Namanga highway. It is composed of several luxurious houses and plots for sale that are serviced with water, electricity and marram roads. The estate is home to some public figures like Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Mithika Linturi and veteran music producer Teddy B. It has functioning drainage systems and various amenities including hospitals and a police station.
Boston Estate
The serenity of this estate makes its one of the best places to call home. Boston is located along the Kitengela – Namanga highway, just 8 kilometers away from Kitengela town. The estate is has 64 three and four bedroom homes. The 4 bedroom mansions cover 185 meters square while the 3 bedroom mansions cover up to 166 square meters. Milimani estate is a popular gated community located just a few minutes’ drive from Kitengela town and 1 kilometre off the Kitengela-Namanga highway. They are fully serviced with electricity, water and good roads. You will find houses for sale such as bungalows and villas each sitting on an eighth-acre piece of land. Some of the schools in the estate include Kitengela International School, Acacia Crest Academy and the Thorn Groove School.
