Just like Isaiah, his father, Marc Carrier, is also a preacher and he was in Kenya as a missionary by the time the family moved here.

Living in Kenya

According to Kingdom Driven Ministries, Isaiah is the oldest son of Marc and Cindy Carrier, and he has lived in Kenya since 2012.

He undertook his General Educational Development (GED) at the age of 16, and spent years serving voluntarily under Kingdom Ministries.

“In his early years, Isaiah supervised water well installation and spring development projects, served both the medical missions and malnourished children’s feeding programs, and maintained the motorbikes used by our team of evangelists and teachers,” a statement read.

When he attained 18, Isaiah secured a three-year work permit to serve as a full-time missionary, thanks to his years of capable service.

Family

It was also this time when Isaiah met and settled down with his wife, Judith Majoni, and welcomed their first child two years after getting into marriage.

However, Judith mentioned that she had suffered a miscarriage prior to welcoming their firstborn son, Jimmy.

She added that it took three years for the couple to finally get into a relationship.

“My brother worked with them [Isaiah’s family] after completing high school and he became close with Isaih. He would ask my brother if he had a sister and even asked for my photos. We finally met when he came home although it took three years for us to get into a relationship,” Judith said.

When the time came, Isaiah says he declared his interests after which he told his parents who later visited Judith’s parents.

Judith on her side said by the time Isaiah said he wanted to settle down with her, she had already noticed that he was interested in her.

“When my parents told me about his intentions, I took time before finally accepting to get into a relationship with him. He was the one who later asked what I had decided,” she said.

The couple will be marking their 7th year anniversary in October 2024.

Missionary work

All this time, Isaiah continued with his missionary work under the wings of his father who later returned to the US, leaving him behind.

Following his father’s return to the US, he took up a full-time administrative role for Kingdom Drive Ministries

Having learnt the Kenyan culture, he became more active and ventured into music recording ministry with a band called, Wajumbe Records.
