I join fellow Kenyans and the entire nation in mourning the passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.
I will always remember him for his unwavering fight for multi-party democracy, his immense contribution to the 2010 Constitution, and his selfless leadership that shaped Kenya’s political landscape. His 2002 endorsement of the late President Mwai Kibaki paved the way for great milestones, including the introduction of Free Primary Education.
Kenya has lost a true patriot, a reformist, and a champion of justice and equality. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to stand for what is right and to put the nation first.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
