Businessman Khalif Kairo has revealed the reason he failed an aviation test.

The car dealer was forced to break his silence after his result slip showing he failed several flight tests went viral.

Taking on one of the people who mocked the slip on social media, Kairo said he made the exam slip public to inspire kids who dream of pursuing aviation.

The businessman said Kenyan pilot exams are one of the hardest in the world.

“I shared this result slip to inspire kids taking aviation esp wenye wako shule, Kenyan pilot exams are some of the hardest in the world. The pass mark is 70% and they give you 10 retakes,”

“Lakini ju unataka likes, wacha tucheke basi. Hahahaha.” Kairo said.

Recently, Kairo came clean regarding bribery allegations after he failed his Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) accreditation exams.

An insider at KCAA had leaked information that he had failed his exams and that he was planning to bribe lecturers to have his results doctored to get a commercial license despite being unqualified.

“A close source has revealed that Kairo has failed his exams at KCAA. He is however trying to bribe his lecturers,” an X user privy to the information tweeted.

The car seller admitted that he had indeed failed his examinations, saying that it was frustrating because he had attempted the examinations a couple of times before and had not been successful.
