CNN journalist Larry Madowo has faced off with one of his fans on Facebook.

Madowo had posted a video on the burial of Ericsson Kyalo Mutisya who was killed during protests at Parliament.

The video rubbed badly on one of his fans who questioned his media credentials.

The fan identified as Atodo Junior asked Madowo to act by the rules of the media.

Madowo hit back at the man while sharing his qualifications and achievements in the media industry.

“Atodo Junior I have 2 degrees in media. I graduated at the top of my class at Columbia, the world’s #1 journalism school. I’ve worked at the world’s biggest media outlets in Africa, Europe and North America. What can you teach me about media?” Larry hit back.

Born on 4th July 1987, Larry Madowo is a renowned journalist whose rise to the apex of his career is a life lesson to be emulated.

He started as a washed-out journalist but quickly gained a footing in the competitive media industry and has gone to work for global news outlets like BBC and now CNN International.

His well-thought-out articles have appeared in the Washington Post and the Guardian.

His journey in the media industry began at Kenya Television (KTN) where he started as a trainee.

After leaving KTN, he went on to conquer the media world and build a very large fan base, especially during his time on Nation Media Group when he hosted NTV’s The Trend show.
