Luqman Petroleum Limited was established in the early 2008 and officially incorporated in the late 2008 under the Kenyan Companies act.
Luqman is a regional oil marketing company with significant presence in the East and Central African countries which comprise Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The petroleum group has invested heavily in storage facilities as well as in the retail station networks and has a very strong supply chain infrastructure.
It has steadily grown to become one of the well organized and established oil companies in the country.
The Motivation behind setting up the Company
The mission driving Luqman Petroleum Limited is to continuously supply petroleum products and services efficiently and competitively in the East African market.
The group company had a vision of being the market leader in the provision of petroleum products and services throughout the entire African continent.
As any other company, Luqman petroleum is founded and based on core values which include honesty, integrity, transparency, mentorship, innovation, sustainability and customer service.
Luqman Petroleum Products and Services
Luqman has fuel stations spread out in different parts of Kenya and Uganda, provides transport and logistics services for the petroleum products and sells petroleum in bulk and wholesale.
The company also provides Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) under the brand name Luqman LPG which is quite popular among many households in Kenya.
They run a chain of restaurants under the brand name Ultimo cafe Restaurant which are located at the different Luqman petrol stations in the country.
At the fuel stations they also provide car washing spaces and a garage that offers wheel alignment services and general car space. They have office spaces to let as well as parking spaces at any of their various service stations.
Luqman Petroleum Leadership
At the helm of the company’s leadership is one Asad Mohamed who is the Executive Director of Luqman Petroleum East Africa. We also have Yusuf Abdi who acts as the General Manager of the company and Mohamed Ali who works as the Finance Manager of Luqman Petroleum Limited.
Luqman Petrol Station Branches
Luqman Petroleum Limited currently has 17 fuel stations spread out in different areas. They include Luqman Fedha, Eldoret, Lang’ata, Limuru, Maanzoni, Maqlaba, Mariakini, Mlolongo, Naivasha Road (in Kenya) and Luqman Rubaga, Kyangera, Jinja Road, Entebbe and Bwaise (in Uganda).
