Michael Olunga Scores A Hat Trick For New Club

By Staff Writer

Harambee Stars frontman Michael Olunga has stamped authority in his new club Al-Duhail by scoring a hat trick against Al Ahli.

Olunga scored his debut goal in the 6th minute before adding the second one via a penalty 43 minutes and a third in the 69th minute. Al-Duhail scored a total of 6 goals courtesy of a brace by E. Junior and a 78th goal by Luiz Caera.

In an earlier interview Al Duhail SC coach Sabri Lamushi was confident that Olunga would find his scoring boots after a slow start in the league.

The player Michael [Olunga] made the first match with the team against Al Sadd and did not show his known scoring prowess, but he will add to the team and he is the top scorer in the Japanese League and is also trying to adapt with his colleagues,” Lamushi said.

Olunga seems to have repaid the faith the tactician has on him.
