Drama

In 2021, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s son Muhoho Kenyatta caused a scene at the club after he used police officers to push other revellers out of the club’s VIP Lounge. This elicited public outrage.

Controversies

In November 2023, Club Milan was on the spot after reports emerged online that a section of employees were being mistreated by management.

In the damning messages shared with bloggers and media houses in a bid to expose the rot, some employees alleged poor pay and delay of wages. They also claimed that management was shortchanging them on tips left by patrons.

Additionally, security personnel at the club were accused of blackmailing waitresses into having sex with them, failure to which they would ensure their sacking.

Boycotts

On June 20, 2024, Kenyans across social media platforms called for a boycott of businesses associated with Karauri after he voted in favour of the Finance Bill 2024.
