Millicent Omanga Denies Being a Tenderprenuer:”Never Benefited From Ruto”

Former Senator Millicent Omanga has denied being involved in corruption.

Omanga, in a tweet on X said she has never been a tenderprenuer and her wealth was clean.

The politician said she has never benefited from William Ruto’s administration.

She added that she was a private person doing private business.

“I need to clear a misconception. I neither work for the GOVERNMENT nor am I a tenderpreneuer in this gov. I’m a private person doing private business. Isitoshe, I’ve never benefited from this gov either in cash or kind. Wanted to make this clear! Ready to respond to all quizzes.” Omanga said.

Omanga’s reactions come after she was accused by Generation Z and activists of being one of the people who got a KSh 1 billion tender to provide furniture for the government.

The former Senator also denied involvement in the 2019 Kenya Prisons KSh 4.8 billion scandal.

“I didn’t benefit from this tender.” She said.

Omanga also revealed that the KSh 60 million Range Rover was a gift from her husband.

In May, Omanga revealed the price of her new  Range Rover.

The former senator had been the talk of the interwebs when she flaunted the brand-new car.

“My new baby. Date OF Birth, 2024. Ni God,” she posted on X.

Many Kenyans had wondered how she could spend millions to acquire a vehicle when the majority of Kenyans are struggling to put food on the table.

In an interview with Mpasho, Omanga revealed the amount she spent to buy the car.

She said it cost her KSh 60 million to buy it.
