Most Exotic Cars Owned by Kenyan Politicians

Kenyan politicians are known to be some of the wealthiest people in Kenya and enjoy the luxury of owning very exotic cars in the country.

Hassan Joho is one of the people who don’t mind spending a dime to live luxuriously. He owns two big machines which leave people’s jaw on the floor.

Joho drives a Ferrari estimated to cost Ksh 30,000,000.  The Ferrari is a unique model such that only 7,000 of these cars are produced in a year.

It is best known for having a V-8 engine and its convertible design. This machine is ideal for speed junkies due to its power and acceleration. The car is also elegant and its interior is as comfortable as it gets. 

Governor Joho also owns a Bentley Bentayga. This model has a starting price of Ksh 27.2 Million. The car is associated with high performance and speaks of extraordinary luxury.

Another politician with a taste for luxurious cars former Governor of Nairobi, Mike Sonko. During his tenure as governor, he was best known for showing off in flashy vehicles, jewellery and clothes, always stating how much it cost him to acquire these items.

He owns a Cadillac Escalade which is mostly used in movies by Secret Service Agents and the FBI.

This car has a 10-speed automatic transmission, 483 horsepower, twin- turbocharged and a 6.2-litre V-8 engine.

The price of this car is approximately Ksh 10 million. This cost excludes insurance and shipping costs hence it is hard to determine the exact cost of shipping this gigantic car. 

Evans Kidero also tops in this list. He was Sonko’s predecessor as a Governor of Nairobi.

Kidero owns a Ksh40 million Rolls Royce Phantom Phantom. The interior of this beast is bespoke and spectacular.

It has a 6.75-litre capacity and a V-12 engine. The Rolls Royce was even awarded the UK Car of the Year Award under the category, Best Luxury Car, severally. 

Last but not least is William Kabogo, former Kiambu Governor and a business mogul.He owns a Ksh 45 Million armoured military car which came in handy during the 2017 General Elections.

He also owns a Jaguar XKR.This car is incredibly fast and makes the ride worthwhile. This is attributed to the V-8 supercharged engine and the sporty design. It has a sumptuous interior and comes with comfort.
