Nazizi Hirji was a big name in the local music industry. The former member of the East African Bashment Crew currently works as a radio presenter at Vybez radio. She recently took to his instagram page to give Kenyans a tour of her imposing mansion that she has completed after a two year journey.

The Mansion
The two-storey building is painted all white punctuated with black exterior skirting. It has monstrous windows that allow sufficient light to penetrate inside the house. Solars panels lie on tiles and gutters run all round the mansion.
There is an equally beautiful house adjacent to the main house which resembles the main house. In between the two houses is a huge crystal blue swimming pool that has a shallow end for children. The mansion is surrounded by a perimeter wall and the huge trees gives the place a homely feel. At the entrance are green natural flower trees that compliments the look of the palatial mansion.
Struggles
Nazizi went on to explain that it has not been an easy journey for her and it has taken over 2 years to bring the project into completion. She thanked her family and especially her father who she said has been a pillar throughout the journey.
“Giving thanks to the most high 2 years of hard work, my first ever construction project my dream home is almost done! JAH KNOW this has been one of the hardest projects of my life. I’ve learnt so much on this journey. People only see the glitz very few know the story,” she explained in an instagram caption.
She continued to narrate how she was forced to move into the house before it was even completed but she never gave up on the dream of owning a fully furnished house.
“We lived here with no power for 6 months. No floors, no ceilings… a lot of sacrifice and I want to big up firozhirji for being a rock in this whole process. I will be sharing before and after pictures to inspire you to never give up. I’m sharing this with you so you know that you should never give up no matter how big or impossible the dream seems. #Alhamdulillah,” she wrote.
