Byron John Otieno, popularly known as Owago Onyiro, just a few years ago packed his bags and moved to the US.
The talented comedian’s ambition was to take a slice of the American dream.

Owago during an interview with Jeremy Damaris, said he has not left comedy and he still goes for shows after work.
The comedian works at Seattle Home Aide Trainers which is run by a Kenyan lady named Eva Akoth.
Owago praised
According to Eva the CEO, Owago is her assistant and helps in the office work.
“He works from Monday to Friday and on weekends he does his comedy”, Eva said.
Eva, originally from Kibera, Nairobi praised Owago for his diligent work.
The facility in Washington State trains students in-home care with most students coming from Kenya.
Owago is among several former Churchill Show comedians who have relocated to the US for greener pastures.

Others who have relocated are Njoro, and Teacher Wanjiku among many.
In 2020 when Kenyans were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, the comedian started to cook fish and then post it on his Instagram account.
This helped sustain him during those hard times as he could make some little money for rent and upkeep.
