The political scene is changing in favor of Deputy President William Ruto. Central and Rift Valley counties are solidly behind his presidency come 2022. He has made inroads in other parts of Kenya and this has seen politicians coalescing around him. Big wigs like Johnstone Muthama and Boni Khalwale have already joined the DP’s camp. More politicians are on their way to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), a party linked to the DP.
