Presenters Behind The Situation Room Talk Show On Spice FM Radio

From Monday to Friday, Spice FM brings you the vibrant morning show, “The Situation Room,” airing from 6am to 10am. Hosting this dynamic and engaging program are the talented trio of Muga, Eric Latiff, and Ndu Okoh.

The Situation Room show has become a popular morning talk show in Kenya, providing insightful political commentary and current affairs discussions.

Ndu Okoh- The Communications Specialist

Ndu Okoh describes herself as a meticulous and driven sales and marketing practitioner with excellent communication and organizational skills. Her expertise and determination have led her to pursue entrepreneurship in both Kenya and her native Nigeria.

With a highly optimistic and results-driven approach, combined with her extensive travel experiences, Ndu has developed knowledge of continental and global trends and a willingness to embrace new ideas to achieve desired results.

She has a passion for telling untold stories and using her media production experience to shed light on narratives that often go unnoticed in mainstream media.

Ndu’s dedication to telling “Herstory” aligns with her strong desire to champion the rights of women and girls.

She currently serves as a host on The Situation Room show on Spice FM, a role she has held since August 2019. The show provides a platform for discussing current affairs and political matters in Kenya.

In addition to her work on the show, Ndu is also a Communication and Media Consultant, collaborating on projects with various organizations to drive effective communication strategies.

Prior to her current positions, Ndu worked as a Business Development Consultant for AFP (Agence France-Presse) from 2007 to October 2015. In this role, she handled communications, networks, and commercial agreements for the agency’s clients in the East Africa and Indian Ocean region.

She also has experience as a Producer/Presenter at TBN Family Media from January 2003 to December 2006. During her time there, Ndu created and coordinated the content of radio programs and related websites, as well as developed new business opportunities for sponsors of the TV programs she produced and presented.

Ndu holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from United States International University – Africa, which she obtained from 1999 to 2002. She also pursued a College Preparatory Degree in General Studies at Hillcrest High School from 1993 to 1997.

With her diverse background and dedication to impactful storytelling, Ndu Okoh brings a unique perspective to The Situation Room and contributes to the show’s engaging discussions on political matters and current affairs.

Eric Latiff: The Experienced Broadcaster and Journalist

Eric Latiff is a seasoned broadcaster and journalist with an impressive career spanning over two decades. Born on August 17th, 1965, in Kenya, Latiff has become a familiar name and face in the media industry. He started his journey in the field of telecommunications, studying as a Telecommunications Engineer at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) in South B, Nairobi, from 1995 to 1998.

Although Latiff began his professional life in telecommunications, his passion for media led him to venture into journalism. In 2006, he joined the founding team of K24, Kenya’s first 24-hour news channel, led by Rose and David Kimotho.

During his time at K24, Latiff played a vital role as the founding Station Manager, contributing to the conceptualization of the program format and technical design. His innovative modular news concept was adopted by numerous stations across the country.

Following his tenure at K24, Latiff joined the Standard Media Group (SMG) in April 2006 as a prime-time news anchor on KTN. During his six-year stint at KTN, he gained valuable experience in various aspects of journalism, including sub-editing news bulletins, conducting live and recorded interviews, program design and implementation, and news content production.

In 2019, when Spice FM was launched by the Standard Media Group, Latiff joined the radio station as one of the hosts of The Situation Room. The show offers uninterrupted political commentary and insights into the state of the nation.

With his wealth of experience and authoritative voice, Latiff has become a sought-after journalist in the media industry, known for his versatility across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms.

Apart from his work in broadcasting, Latiff also runs two digital agencies: Zeze Digital, a data-driven marketing, advertising, and training agency, and Zeze Tunes, a digital video content aggregator, digital rights manager, and distribution firm.

His agencies offer a range of services, including digital media training, digital strategy, Google AdWords, social media management, and more.

Latiff’s notable achievements include being selected as one of the moderators for the Presidential debate, where he had the opportunity to work alongside Citizen TV’s Yvonne Okwara. His dedication to his craft and passion for journalism continue to make him an influential figure in the media landscape.

Charles ‘CT’ Muga: The Lateral Thinker and Change Catalyst

Dr. CT Muga, is a scientist, researcher, academic, seasoned political observer, a fountain of wisdom in these politically uncertain times. He is one of the hosts of The Situation Room, bringing a unique perspective to the show.

Described as a lateral thinker, political strategist, and change catalyst, CT Muga is a vital contributor to the morning talk show on Spice FM.

While information about CT Muga’s personal background is limited, his professional achievements speak for themselves. As a passionate advocate for untold stories Muga utilizes his media production experience to shed light on narratives that often go unnoticed in mainstream media, adds a valuable perspective to The Situation Room and contributes to a more inclusive and diverse discussion.
