ODM leader Raila Odinga is in the final stages of acquiring four choppers from France as he prepares to make a fifth stab at the presidency, The Standard reports.
According to the daily, the payment schedule for the helicopters has been completed pending delivery. The assembling will be done in Nairobi giving the strongest indication that the Building Bridges Initiative proponent has set his eyes for the presidency.
A member of parliament privy to the new development told the daily:
“We expect the choppers to be shipped soon before they can be assembled locally”
