Selly Kadot Amutabi is a Kenyan media personality and radio presenter. She is one of the most renowned and beloved radio show hosts in the country.
She boasts is famed for her unique voice and is often at times referred to as ‘husky voice’.
Kadot is a radio presenter at Royal Media Services (RMS) and hosts shows on three of the media company’s stations; Radio Citizen, Hot 96 FM.

She was born and raised in Kakamega County and is the first-born in a family of five. Kadot is the daughter to popular political analist and television personality Maurice Amutabi.
One of her brothers goes by the name Samuel Amutabi.

Kadot began her education at Shadrack Kimalel in Eldoret Town before she was transferred to St. Anne’s Girls Mumias where she sat for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
She then joined Bunyore Girls High School for her secondary education and excelled in her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
Kadot attended Daystar University where she pursued and undergraduate degree in Communication ad Journalism.
The radio queen later joined the United States International University (USIU) and graduated with a Masters Degree in International Relations, majoring in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy.

Kadot boasts an illustrious career in the media industry and has commanded a massive following and audience over the years.
Her voice is a force to recon with, and has seen her host various shows in various stations.
The road to RMS has seen her host Baraka Za Qwetu Na Kadot at Qwetu Radio, Tambira at Q FM. She has also been and hosted shows at BBC and Nation FM.
Kadot currently hosts two shows on Radio Citizen; Mambo Mseto on every week day from 1pm to 4pm and Wingu la Baraka on Sundays.
She is a versatile figure and often features on Hot 96 FM’s breakfast show with Jeff Koinange every Friday.
Projects
Kadot owns and runs a YouTube channel, Sally Amutabi, in which she documents and airs people’s journeys through life.
Some of the content revolves around people who have survived illness such as cancer, HIV, accidents, those who have moved on from breakups, domestic violence, and broken marriages.
