Dennis Itumbi has been fired as the Director of Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications
in the Office of the President (OP) of the Republic of Kenya, reports Kawahatungu.

According to the blog, the axe did not spare the fierce critic of the ‘handshake’ between president Uhuru Kenyatta and his political foe turned ally Raila Odinga as he was shown the door alongside James Kinyua (Events and Branding), Erick Ng’eno (Speechwriting and Research), David Nzioka and John Ndolo.

The employees of the President’s Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) had reportedly applied for an extension but the OP had no use for their services. Itumbi has more or else been working for the deputy president William Ruto if his tweets are anything to go by.
