Reporter Stephen Letoo has given Olive Burrows a warm welcome to Citizen TV.

Burrows joined the Royal Media-owned station after leaving NTV early this month.

Olive will replace Victoria Rubadiri who joined CNN in early May.

Letoo in a message on Facebook said the news anchor has joined the biggest news station on the planet.

He added that viewers can’t wait to see her infectious smile on their screens.

“True Woman Olive Kalekye Burrows Welcome to the biggest News Planet Citizen TV Kenya. Our 22 Million Viewers at night and 12 Million viewers during the day can’t wait to see your infectious smile on their Screens,” Letoo said.

On Wednesday, May 8 Burrows bid an emotional farewell to farewell to NTV.

In her last news bulletin at the Nation Media Group-owned TV station.

An emotional Burrows thanked NTV for allowing her to work for them.

Her colleagues shared messages of appreciation and celebrated her time at the Twin Towers.

“I love you guys. It has been an absolute privilege working here at the Nation Media Group for the last six years,”

“They took a chance on me, and it has paid off, not just careerwise but also the friendships, and we remain comrades in arms because this craft we are in together for the greater good of Kenyans,” said Burrows.
