Suzanne Silantoi Lelengwa was nominated by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja as a member of the County Executive Committee (CEC).
While appearing before before the vetting committee on Tuesday, December 6, she sparked mixed reactions after revealing that she is worth Ksh 36 million.

Political journey
Silantoi shot into the limelight during the 2017 General Elections when she contested for the Nairobi senate seat.
She was just 23 years old at the time.
However, her quest to serve Nairobians was not successful as she lost the election to Sakaja, sending her packing until recently.
Silantoi resurfaced after she was appointed as a member of the County Executive Committee (CEC) for Inclusivity, Public Participation and Customer Service.
The docket was introduced by Sakaja to improve the relationship between the county and Nairobi residents, traders and investors.
Net worth
Silantoi revealed that she is worth Ksh 36 million while appearing before Nairobi County Assembly Select Committee on Appointment.
She explained that the net worth is shared with her family, also disclosing the she currently not in a romantic relationship.
“I come from a family of just one sibling and I’m single,” Silantoi said.
Silantoi also stated that she has Ksh 900,000 worth of savings.
