Two Rivers Mall Launches Cinema Hall With Largest Screen in East Africa

Two Rivers Mall has unveiled the largest cinema screen in East and Central Africa in a move to win the hearts of movie enthusiasts in Nairobi.

Dubbed the TRX (Two Rivers Extreme), the luxurious cinema hall was opened following a partnership between the mall and Century Cinemax.

It was opened for members of the public of Friday, November 11 for the premier of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

During the movie premier, three screens out of six screens installed in the humongous cinema center was put in use.

The cinema has a screen measuring 19.5 meters in width and 8.7 meters in height; making it the largest in the region.

The screen will include Dolby Atmos 4K screen and the state of the art 7.1 digital surround sound giving movie enthusiasts a special experience.

Notably, comfort is guaranteed as premium and high back rocking chairs are installed in the cinema for the comfort of clients.

The cinema complex also boasts additional features like a VIP kids’ cinema.

“Two Rivers Development is about integrating residential, retail, entertainment, and lifestyle facilities in one location, the opening of this cinema is yet another step toward fulfilling this goal,” said the Centum Real Estate Managing Director, Ken Mbae.

The cinema was officially open to the public on November 12 with showtimes ranging from 12.30pm to 10pm every day.

Two Rivers Mall is the largest in East and Central Africa situated along Limuru Road, Kiambu County.

The mall encompasses mixed developments both residential and commercial centers, an amusement park, games arcade, movie theatre and supermarkets among others.

It is also important to note that the Ferries wheel in Two Rivers is the highest in Africa staggering at 60 meters high.
