U.S.-based Kenyan entrepreneur has recalled the day he was ridiculed for starting his business.

Bob Mwiti, the founder of the Kenya Airlift Program said he just started his business in 2017 with no office or employees when a social media user mocked him for being a two-person company.

Mwiti said since then his company has grown and wondered what the person who trolled him 7 years ago would say now.

He said he wished to tag him on Facebook to show him the success he has made of the business.

“Trust the process, and keep grinding! Never listen to what some might negatively think about you and your business. Was going through old posts on my timeline and came across this picture I had posted about our business in Oct 2017,”

“We were only a month old then. We had no office and of course no employees. This comment caught my attention because the man made it known to me that we were only a 2 people company. I feel like tagging him to see our progress now..haha. Other comments from my friends were very encouraging though,”

“7 years later, we can only thank you for the progress,” said Mwiti.

Kenyans on social media congratulated him for his perseverance and not giving up on his dream.

“Bob Mwiti you can be sure enough that even some of us have been ridiculed, looked down and fingers folded to count the number of days we’d survive in these businesses….. today the same people come to seek advice from us on how we made it. Keep up the good work buddy.

If the size of your dreams doesn’t scare you, you should go back and dream again. Mbele Iko sawa,” Mwenda O Sabella said.
