Duane Martin (Born on 11th August 1965) he is an American actor, writer and producer. He wrote and produced the films: The Seat Filler and Ride or Die. He distributed the film The Seat Filler with his then newly formed company The Momentum Experience.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended New York University. After playing NCAA Division III Basketball at NYU, he was signed to a non guaranteed contract in the National Basketball Association with the New York Knicks in 1989. He was signed as an undrafted free agent but did not play in the NBA.
His debut television appearance was on NBC’s Comedy series Out All Night. He then appeared on the music video I’ll Make Love to You by Boyz II Men. Martin would also make an appearance on the sitcom Getting Personal, which only aired for a short while.
The actor was then featured on the Sitcom All of US as TV reporter Robert James. This was followed by guest appearance on the Sitcom Rita Rocks (which starred his ex-wife) in 2009 and the Paul Reiser show in 2011. He portrays himself in the BET comedy Real Husbands of Hollywood.
