Diamond Platinumz: Cars He Owns & How Much He Charges Per Show

Tanzanian musician Naseeb Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platinumz is one of the most celebrated artists in his home country and Africa as a continent.

He is famed for elevating the “Bongo Flava” industry beyond East Africa to feature collaborations with artists from around the world, including the USA.

Ranked among the highest earning musicians on the African continent, Diamond is not shy to splash a few bucks on his clothing and expensive cars.

Diamond has collaborated with some of the top artists in Africa including multiple time BET Award winner Burna Boy, Fally Ipupa and the legendary Kofi Olomide. This alone, is a testament to his levels as an artist.

Cars

Diamond boasts a luxurious fleet of cars worth in excess of Ksh100 million and he is not afraid to share images and videos of his fleet with his fans on social media.

On July 14, 2021, the WCB President announced that he had received his new car, a blue 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan with zero mileage.

“I received my Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021 zero kilometres today, what a Blessed day,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

As Rolls-Royce’s first and only sport utility vehicle, the ultra-luxurious Cullinan boasts a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine with a 563 horsepower. The beast has a nine-speed automatic transmission mated to an all-wheel drive system.

According to car website Carbuzz, the Rolls Royce Cullinan goes for around $382,000 (Ksh41.3 million). However, the amount may be higher depending on the amount of custom features the buyer needs.

The price may go above the Ksh41.3 million if custom taxes and duties are factored in.

Diamond also owns a number of several other luxurious cars, which light up his garage. In January this year, he acquired two Cadillac Escalade SUVs. Each costs around Ksh30 million.

Other cars owned by the Bongo Flava artist include: 2 Toyota Landcruiser V8s, BMW X6, Landcruiser Prado.

Charges per show

Diamond recently reveals that he charges $70,000 (approximately Ksh7.3 million) per show if it is outside Tanzania.

He made the revelation after a song by Rayvanny, an artist signed to his record label WCB, was banned for allegedly having explicit content and promoting homosexuality.

Diamond took to social media to reveal that he charges Ksh2 million for shows within Tanzania and Ksh7.3 million for shows outside his home country.

“Bei zangu huwaga si chini dola elf Sabini za kimarekani ( $70,000) kwa show
sawa na milioni (160,300,000 za kitanzania) mbazo kwa show moja tu ningeweza kuchangia pato la kodi si chini ya milioni (48,090,000 ya kitanzania)…hivyo naomba mlitazame na hapo Balaza letu Pendwa,” he wrote.

Diamond boasts a huge following on social media with over 12.7 million followers on Instagram. His videos n YouTube garner tens of millions of views. This alone proves he has a huge following and has made a living out of it.
