In 2019, Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi opened his Ksh60 million salon and spa dubbed “Miss White Spa”. The facility is located in Wood Avenue opposite Yaya centre in the high-end Kilimani area.
The spa was launched by ODM leader Raila Odinga in a ceremony that was attended by several MPs and other leaders. They included Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Starehe’s Charles Kanyi Njagua alias Jaguar, Kibra MP Imran Okoth, Ganze’s Teddy Mwabire, Mark Nyamita, Godfrey Osotsi (nominated) and Suba North’s Millie Odhiambo.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna was also present during the launch. Comedian Eric Omondi was the MC of the event. A good number of former University of Nairobi (UoN) students also attended the luxurious opening of the Miss White Spa launch.

According to reports, the high-end establishment is operated by Amisi’s wife Whitney Sang. It offers a number of services including a barbershop, nail bar, massage, steam room and sauna.
Speaking to a local daily in July 2020, Whitney, who is the CEO, stated that they settled on the business after they were urged to have every beauty experience under one roof.
The establishment has modern designs and amazing decor, starting at the entrance. Its furniture is imported to ensure clients have the best experience possible.
It has distinguished sections for the barbershop, the salon, among other services. It is also child-friendly since it has seats for kids in the space.
According to reports, a haircut from a team of well-trained barbers led by celebrity barber, hair designer and stylist Armstrong Andira is said to cost Ksh1,000. Other services are charged separately.
The establishment also has a nail bar, individual sections for pedicures, and private rooms for massages. Most of the clients prefer Swedish massages which focus on the tissues and sports massages for clients that work out.
The beauty facility also offers a facial and a full-body scrub.
Even better, it has consultations with medical practitioners who give their professional opinion on treatment for clients.
Miss White Spa has one of the rare saunas in Nairobi. Also available is a steam bath.
The faciity also has a private wing for clients seeking VIP services and are charged 20 per cent more than the regular clients.
The establishment mainly targets high-end clients. It currently has over 30 employees.
