Kenya has produced a number of players who have gone on to play for international teams. Below are some of the players and the schools they attended: 

Dennis Oliech 

Before retiring from international football, Dennis Oliech was considered one of the best football talents in the country. He also holds the record as Harambee Stars having scored 34 goals for the team. He is an alumni of Kakamega High School..

Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma

Erick plays for Ekstraklasa club Raków Częstochowa, mainly as a left-back but can be deployed to other left side positions. He attended Kakamega High School. 

Joseph ‘Crouch’ Okumu 

The Harambee Stars defender previously played for Belgian club KAA Gent where he scored four goals out of his 92 appearances. In 2023, he signed a five-year deal with French top tier side Stade de Reims. 

He is an alumni of Kakamega High School .

Philip Mayaka 

Philip Mayaka is a midfielder for Crown Legacy FC in MLS Next Pro. He studied at St. Anthony, Kitale. 

Henry Meja 

Henry currently plays on loan from AIK for for AFC Eskilstuna. He also plays for the Kenya National team and previously played for Kenya Premier League team, Tusker.  He is a former student of Kakamega High School. 

Collins Sichenje 

The former AFC Leopards player plays as a centre-back for Swedish side AIK. He attended Kakamega High School 

Richard Odada 

He plays midfielder for Danish first division side AaB, on loan from the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer, and the Kenya national team. He attended Laiser Hill Academy in Rongai. 

Victor Wanyama 

Aart from playing for the Kenya National Team, Victor Wanyama plays for Major League Soccer club CF Montréal as a defensive midfielder. He attended Kamukunji High School. 

Michael Olunga 

The Harambee Stars Captain plays as a striker for Qatar Stars League club Al-Duhail. He is an alumni of Upper Hill School. 

McDonald Mariga

The retired defensive midfielder is the first Kenyan to play in the UEFA Champions League, for Inter Milan. He attended Kamukunji High School.
