Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has maintained that her projects will continue despite the budget for her office being scrapped.

The second lady affirmed that her fight for the boychild would not be affected.

This comes after President William Ruto announced austerity measures in the government.

The president scraped budgetary allocation for the office of the First Lady, spouses of the Deputy President and the Prime Cabinet Secretary.

Pastor Dorcas has been known for her fight against alcoholism especially amongst the youths and has been involved in the rehabilitation of victims.

Dorcas revealed that she started her projects long before she joined the office of the second lady.

“It is okay that the country doesn’t want the second lady to have a budget, but I will continue to fight for the boychild even without the budget,”

“That is a vision and passion I have for the boychild. I CAN stop because I started even before I was in office, I believe you and I can be able to make it.” She added.
