Omakase: Villa Rosa Kempinski’s Ksh 33,000 Per Person Private Dinning Sushi Experience

The Villa Rosa Kempinski is a luxury 5-star hotel located in Nairobi, featuring a rich culinary experience with Italian classics, Arabian flavors and international cuisine.

This was proved in a recent video where a social media user documented her experience while trying a Sushi experience at the hotel.

For starters, Sushi is a Japanese dish made with vinegared rice, usually combined with various ingredients such as raw fish, vegetables and sometimes cooked ingredients.

It is a staple food in Japanese cuisine and has gained popularity worldwide over the years as it is considered a healthier meal choice.

It is due to its popularity that Villa Rosa Kempinski has a Sushi experience that costs Ksh 33,000 per person.

The hotel offers a private 2-hour dining experience dubbed Omakase which is facilitated by an executive Japanese chef.

According to the Omakase menu, Omakase IMARI course costs Ksh 18,000 while the Omakase Oribe course costs Ksh 28,000.

On the other hand, the Omakase Kutani course costs Ksh 33,000 while the Omakase Tsuki course will cost Ksh 38,000.

The Omakase IMARI course consists of one appetizer, 8 Nigiri Sushi, one Sushi roll, Miso soup and dessert of your choice.

Omakase Oribe course on the other hand is made up of one appetizer, 14 Nigiri Sushi, one Sushi roll, Miso soup and dessert.

Omakase Kutani course comprises one appetizer, one Sashimi, one hot dish, 12 Nigiri Sushi, one Sushi roll, Miso soup and dessert.

Lastly, the Omakase Tsuki course which is the most expensive is made up of one appetizer, two Sashimis, two hot dishes, 13 Nigri Sushi, one Sushi roll, Miso soup and dessert.

Eating sushi can provide several health benefits due to its nutrient-rich ingredients including omega-3 fatty acids, which help prevent clogged arteries and lower blood pressure.

Seaweed in sushi contains iodine, essential for thyroid function and hormone balance while the fish is high in protein and low in fat, aiding metabolism and energy production.

Additionally, Wasabi and ginger in sushi have anti-carcinogenic properties and selenium in fish helps prevent cancer.

Iron contained in fish and soy sauce improves red blood cell production, enhancing circulation and overall health.

Additionally, sushi is naturally low in fat and calories, making it a healthy choice when prepared with the right ingredients.
