Kshs 20K Tithe: Khalif Kairo Reveals His 2018 Budget Breakdown

Car dealer Khalif Kairo does not shy away from revealing his personal financial accomplishments , often terming it as his way of  inspiring upcoming entreprenuers.

In his recents revelations, he shared what his monthly budget looked like six years ago , eliciting mixed reactions from netizens who were shocked at the amounts he allocated different expenditures.

People say a lot of things about my money, which is understandable. But today, I will give you a small insight into what my budget looked like six years ago. I want you to pay attention to three things,” he said on his X account.

He then listed his three essential expenses; Tithe, social responsibility, and marketing/investing adding that they were his  secret to success.

In his tithe amount he had allocated and fully paid KShs 20,000, while allocating Kshs 35,000 to social responsibility and Kshs 52,000 to investments in his business.

Netizens were quick to react especially after seeing his tithing amount, with many arguing that it was a hefty amount to give to the church.

“Kupea pastor mtu akona benz then anaishi runda 20k is mental. Hio pesa unafaa kusaidia watu hawajiwezi the poor, orphans etc,”one X user noted.

“Instead of feeding fat pastors, how about you use the money to feed a family that can’t afford basic things like food for their children? It might not make them not needy tomorrow, but I prefer brightening someone’s day one day at a time than tithing and sadaka,” another opined.

“Shopping 3k so what exactly were you eating? Yet tithe ni 7 times? The rest ni understandable,” Beth Kalasinga posed.

Others teased the car enthusiast for spending the huge amount on the church, stating that he has inspired a career change for them.

“Kuna pastor alipata hio 20,000ksh in the name of tithe, it’s the high time I became a pastor,” Mohamed K joked.

“Tithe 20,000?I want to become a pastor and have 10 people wanatithe monthly kama Kairo. Nairobi ni kusurvive,” another named Kamau KE quipped.

The other costs on his budget are electricity tokens for Kshs 1,000, rent for Kshs 20,000 and internet for Kshs 1,000. In the social category he paid school fees amounting to Kshs 15,000 for his relative and spent KShs 20,000 for his mother’s and other family members’ upkeep.

Khalif dismissed the criticism, saying, “Most of you don’t realize how God operates, and that’s where you go wrong. God blesses through people and also takes what is His through people. Once you tithe to a church, your contract with God is done. Whatever they do with the money is their issue with God.”
