Size 8 Takes Issue With Women Who Blame God After Failed Marriages

In light of her recent announcement regarding the end of her 11-year marriage to DJ Mo, gospel singer Size 8 has shared insights on managing pain and disappointment within relationships.

In an update on social media, she conveyed a message to women, urging them not to attribute their hurt or disappoints to God.

According to Size 8, many women often find themselves questioning why God permitted their suffering, which can lead to a crisis of faith.

She firmly stated that God should not be held accountable for the decisions made in personal relationships.

Size 8 underscored that the selection of a partner is a matter of free will, and when difficulties arise, it is not a reflection of divine responsibility.

“Women, when men and your spouse disappoint you or hurt you, that is not the time to blame God or ask God why did this happen… To a point many are leaving their salvation their faith in Jesus Christ and they say God let me down. God is not responsible for who you chose as your partner. This was your own free will. So why come blame God when things go bad?” She asked.

Size 8 emphasized the significance of maintaining faith in Jesus Christ during challenging periods, noting that God does not dictate the actions of individuals.

She noted that if someone decides to harm you by disregarding God’s commandments, it is not an act of God.

Size 8 reminded women that God has granted humanity free will, which means individuals are accountable for their own actions.

“Why abandon your faith in Jesus Christ when things don’t work out? God cant control the action of your spouse. If they choose not to follow His commands and hurt you, God is not responsible for God gave humanity free will

“At the time of disappointments, run to God not away from God. Cry for mercy and ask Him to help you for His grace is available for those in need,” she wrote.

As earlier reported on WoK, Size 8 elicited a stir online after she announced that she was a single woman, signalling the end of her marriage to DJ Mo.

The singer who has been candid about the struggles in her marriage took to her Instagram stories to share the news, adding that she had been in marriage for a decade and she was ready for her new journey in singlehood.

“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace a s sometimes it does not work, but God is still on the throne. I’ve been married for 11 years and now I start the journey of singlehood,” Size 8 wrote.

The couple is not new to controversy as their marital conflicts often find their way online, with Size 8 sharing instances of emotional turmoil that have led to separations and almost to divorce.

In March this year, she revealed that she consulted a divorce lawyer after reaching a point of hopelessness and despair, and she was contemplating taking custody of their two children.

“I reached a place where I felt hopeless, where I saw a point of no return, and I think depression kind of kicked in. So I wasn’t thinking straight

“I didn’t see a way out, so I decided to call a divorce lawyer and told him I want to divorce, I want to take the children, so I asked him to start considering the paperwork,” Size 8 said on their reality show Love In The Wild.

DJ Mo learnt of Size 8’s consultation with the divorce lawyer through a WhatsApp message and he expresssed that he was shocked and confused.

He however remained open to dialogue and reconciliation.
