Annah Mutheu does not live in a dark smoky hut with scary looking paraphernalia. Her house is grand and so are her powers-real or perceived.
According to the Nairobian, the lavish house she owns in Machakos county is estimated to be worth ksh40 million.
The witchdoctor, who never misses church on Sundays, owns high end cars and jets in and out of the country to meet her clients.

She is 43 years old as of 2021.

She was a pupil at Katwii Primary School. She never proceeded to secondary school.
Family
Mutheu has three children.
Learning the trade
She learnt the trade from her mother who told her she had the “spirit of witching”. Mutheu told the Nairobian:
“My mother told me how to trade and she also told me that I can because when I was born, the spirit of witching was inside me. I have no regrets…”
So how much does Annah Mutheu make in a day?
Mutheu receives between 60 to 80 clients in a day. The witchdoctor charges Ksh1,000 as consultation fee. On a good day, Mutheu makes Ksh80,000.
Assuming she sees 60 clients, the witchdoctor makes Ksh60,000 which translates to Ksh1.8 million per month.
Apart from the consultation fee, Mutheu charges top dollar for services offered like punishing an offender. This means the actual amount she makes per month could be in excess of Ksh2.5 million.
The class 8 dropout told the tabloid of her wealth:
“Most people assume that witchdoctors are poor and lead miserable lives. That is not the case. I am a woman of means and my juju business has made me rich..”
What She Owns
Asked what she owns, she responded;
“My properties are countless since I also invest in real estate within the country. I have three lorries, three public service vehicles, three personal cars, a petrol station and plots in Nakuru, Nairobi, Mombasa, Malindi and here in Tala.”

The 43 year boss lady, as she prefers to be called, has politicians and other powerful individuals in her list of clients. For a witch doctor who has a sofa set worth Ksh350,000 dedicated for a clients, Mutheu is by the most richest in her trade.
