Azziad Nasenya Reveals Her First Earnings From Utawezana Tik Tok Video

Content creator, actress and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya has disclosed her first-ever earnings as a content creator.

The TikToker came into the limelight following the virality of her video doing the famous ‘Utawezana’ challenge.

Utawezana, a song by rapper Femi One and Mejja went viral in 2020 garnering 13.6 million views on YouTube.

Speaking during an event organised by the Sanaa Academy, Azziad disclosed that her first-ever earning from content creation came a month after participating in the challenge.

She noted that she made Ksh 200,000.

“That was the first money I ever made. I got it a month after the viral video. One video? I was surprised at that huge amount of money,” Azziad said.

In July 2020, she released her rate card that showed that she charges Ksh 100,000 for a TikTok video and Ksh 50,000 for a live.

On Instagram, she charges Ksh 100,000 for a post, Ksh 50,000 for an InstaStory and Ksh 50,000 for a live.

Azziad charges Ksh 50,000 for a Tweet, and Ksh 100,000 for a YouTube video, Ksh 50,000 for a placement and Ksh 30,000 for a mention.

Her weekly and monthly brand engagement packages at KSh 250,000 and Ksh 500,000 respectively.

In August 2021, Hopper HQ, an Instagram planning and marketing tool, ranked her the highest paid influencer in Kenya.

She was also ranked 28th in Africa.

The talented dancer attended secondary school at Misikhu Girls Secondary and later the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication where she pursued a course in Mass Media.
