Beatrice Dorea Chege is a successful Kenyan actress who has featured in some of the country’s biggest shows. Her impressive acting skills have seen her land role after role and endeared her to many Kenyans. This is her story:
Background and Education
Dorea Chege was born on 3rd January 1993. She spent most of her early life in Nairobi’s Kahawa West area. The 31-year-old was born in a family of three siblings where she is the first born.
Her parents are both pastors. Growing up she was a praise and worship leader in their church and had also wanted to be a musician in future. At one point, while in class six, she lived in Murang’a at a place known as Kangare with her grandmother.
In class 6, she studied at Mwarano Primary school, however, she sat for her KCPE at Kahawa Baptist Primary. Beatrice joined high school in Limuru and afterwards proceeded to pursue a diploma in journalism and mass communication at NIBS.
Career
Dorea did her internship at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and later on worked there as a volunteer. She’s an actress and a content creator. Her debut in acting was on Inooro TV’s Wonders of Love.
This has been followed by bigger roles in Kenya’s most watched Television series. She acted in the award winning telenovela, Selina and featured as Maggie on the hit TV show, Maria on Citizen TV.
She successfully auditioned for Maria after receiving a call from Rashid Abdallah. The actress is currently part of a popular show on Rembo TV known as Pink Ladies, which airs from Monday to Friday at 8:00pm. The show features other big names, like, Azziad Nasenya, Shix Kapienga and Pascal Tokodi.
Apart from acting, she creates content on her YouTube channel which boasts of two hundred and sixty thousand subscribers. She is also on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook with a massive number of likes and followers.
Relationship
She is currently dating Dj Dibul. They met in a high school mentorship program. Dj had a crush on her and was all over the actress DM’s for six months.
He confessed his love through a DM but she only responded with a hi. Beatrice agreed to a relationship after a while. They made the relationship official on Instagram.

Apart from owning a multi-storey mansion in Juja, she is the CEO of Dorea’s parlour which offers stickons, tips, gel polish, acrylics, waxing and facials
