TB Joshua Wife Evelyn, Children And What They Are Going To Inherit

The death of Nigerian prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua or simply TB Joshua has reverberated in almost every corner of the world. He was a man of God whose miracles attracted believers beyond the borders of Nigeria. From a humble background, TB Joshua became one of the most respected and wealthiest preachers in the world. The founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was also a loving husband to  Evelyn Joshua and a doting father to three children. Here is what you need to know about  Evelyn Joshua.

TB Joshua wife

Evelyn Joshua was born on 17 December 1968 with a twin brother who has since passed away. Her parents were Mr and Mrs Nicholas Akabude. Unlike her husband, Evelyn was fairly educated. She attended St Emecheta Primary School in Ezi Town, Delta State, Nigeria and later joined Orile Primary School after relocating to Lagos after her education was temporarily interrupted in her former school. She joined secondary school and after graduating worked for Nigerian Distilleries in Ota, Ogun State.

It took 45 minutes for TB Joshua to convince Evelyn to be his wife. According to the mother of three, she was 22 years old when she met the man of God. She had visited her sister who was then living in Ikotun-Egbe and the buzz around town surrounded the good deeds of a certain prophet. Evelyn got interested in meeting this prophet since she was in need of spiritual guidance at the time. The two met and TB Joshua looked at her for sometime and wrote the word Ejide (meaning twin) on a piece of paper and went on to reveal details about her life that she knew and some she didn’t.

After a 45 minutes conversation, the man of God proposed to her and she accepted. T.B Joshua later revealed that it was a divine connection and that he had had a vision days prior to their meeting. They married in 1990. Until her husband’s demise, Evelyn was the second in command in Scoan; it is yet to be seen if she will fill the vacuum left by her husband.

What They Are Going To Inherit

TB Joshua’s wife and children livelihoods are well secured if what he left on earth is anything to go by. In 2015, Forbes estimated his networth at between $10-$15million. The man of God gave a lot to charity that has been estimated at $20 million.

His family will also inherit his fleet of high end cars and a private jet among other earthly possessions left behind by the prophet.

She shared this on her husband’s death:

“Losing a loved one is never easy; whether sudden or foreseen it’s always heartbreaking,” she wrote.

Grief can wreak havoc on our overall wellbeing. That’s why it’s important to stay rooted to the Almighty. Only He can lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times. Seek refuge in Him.
