If you’re in Eldoret and want a taste of game meat then Eka Hotel is the place for you. According to the hotel, a serving of ostrich and crocodile meat is available only on Fridays at 6 p.m. The same costs only ksh 2500 per person.
Besides this, there is an offer of 5 bottles of local beer for only ksh 1500 for a perfect Friday unwinding.
Location of Eka Hotel
The hotel is located on the western wing of Rupa Mall which is on the Eldoret-Nakuru Road just opposite Ken-knit. When inside the mall,it is easy to locate this hotel by using the cabro pavement on the car park where you will find the entrance.
The staff at the entrance are friendly and they will direct you to the lifts after a security screen. There are two lifts which lead to the third floor where the hotel’s reception is found.
Eka Hotel rooms and charges
The high-end hotel has 85 rooms which are categorised into four. The accomodation package also offers the following amenities: TV with DSTV, minibar, hairdryers, bathrooms and high speed WiFi among others.
The most affordable rooms are the Superior suites which measure 30 m². They are 78 in number and cost at least Ksh 11k per night. The business rooms are 5 in number and cover an estimated area of 43 m². One will have to part with at least Ksh 13k per night.
There is an executive suite which goes for Ksh 19k and a presidential suite which costs at least Ksh 36k.

Conference Facilities
Eka Hotel also offers state-of-the-art conference facilities that have great audiovisual facilities and offer high internet connectivity. Additionally, the rooms provide good lighting and air conditioning.
Dining and Cocktails
For a perfect sunny afternoon, visitors can have an easy day relaxing at the hotel’s terrace which offers a great view of the western side of Rupa’s mall and the adjacent Kapsoya estate. Here, one can order a cocktail prepared by expert mixologists.

Bingwa Health Club
The hotel has modern gym facilities for fitness enthusiasts. The Bingwa Health Club charges Ksh 1500 daily but the same costs only ksh 10 000 monthly. According to the hotel’s official website, a half yearly subscription is charged Ksh 45k and the same doubles up for a full year.
Additionally, massaging, waxing and facial services are offered at the Bingwa Health Club.
