Over last 5 to 10 years, a number of our beautiful Kenyan sisters have opted for relationships, even marriages with our Nigerian brothers.

Our sisters who have gone ‘West Africa’ often allege that “brodas” appreciate and treat women better than Kenyan men.

June Ruto

On May 27, 2021, Deputy President William Ruto’s daughter June Ruto wedded her Nigerian Fiance’ Dr Alexander Ezenagu.

The two tied the knot in an invite only wedding held at DP Ruto’s private residence in Karen.

Emmy Kosgei

The award winning gospel artist is married to Nigerian Pastor Anselm Madubuko. Despite their huge age difference, the couple is very much in love.

The two have been married for eight years and live in Nigeria.

Anselm is the head of the Revival Ministries in West African nation.

Amani

Veteran singer and media personality Amani is married to a “broda”, Chinasa Udeala.

The two wedded in an invite-only private ceremony that saw only family and close friends attend the event.

Ruth Matete

Tusker Project Fame winner and gospel artist Ruth Matete tied the knot with a Nigerian man in 2019.

Matete and Pastor John were very much in love and lived together in Nairobi until his untimely demise.

Wavinya Ndeti

Machakos politician and former Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti was also married to a “broda”.

Sadly, Dolamu Henry Oduwole, Wavinya’s hubby, passed away in 2016.

Akinyi

The businesswoman married her Nigerian lover Anthony Chinedu in 2004.

After five years of marriage, the two separated in a nasty divorce in 2009.

He is the lead artist in the popular boy band Sauti Sol. Bien Aime Baraza married Nigerian Chiki Onweke in 2019.
