She is among the media personalities who has remained relevant over the years and is seemingly not about to slow. Esther Mwende hosts one of the most listened to radio shows in the country.
The radio host has built her brand from scratch to what it is today. She describes herself as bold, fun, interesting and sassy.
Apart from hosting shows, Mwende is also a corporate MC who has hosted a number of events for well paying blue chip companies. Some of the notable brands she has worked with include:
- The P&G campaign for Always keeping girls in school.
- Safaricom- she worked with the Blaze network in Nakuru, Mombasa and Nairobi as a voice for the youth on the ground.
- Turkish airline- hosted the second anniversary of the Turkish Airlines Agency Awards at Sarova Hotel.
The sassy media personality has made a major impact on the youths in the country through this campaign and many others. She has also worked with charitable organizations to support the youth.
Growing up she watched other amazing inspirational women in the media like Tyra Banks, Oprah Winfrey and Caroline Mutoko which inspired her a lot.

Esther Mwende Age
She was born on 12th September 1986 in Ukunda, Kwale county.
Education
The media personality attended Mwakigwena Primary School before proceeding to Matuga Girls Secondary School. She then did a diploma in journalism at Patana Institute and later joined Daystar University.
Career
The queen of the airwaves started her media journey at Baraka FM (a coast based radio station) in 2007. She only worked there as an intern.
In 2009, she got an opportunity to join Sheik radio, also based in Mombasa.
From 2011 to 2013, she hosted a gospel show known as Tukuza. The show focused on gospel music and inspirational preachers and or people.
Later, she joined Radio Maisha, one of the top three most listened to radio stations in the county. At Radio Maisha, she hosts the show Konnect which pools a large audience.
This afternoon show is listened to by thousands of Kenyans who tune in to Radio Maisha everyday.
The sassy media personality also began hosting her own talk show on KTN which gave her the chance to host a number of live events including 2bonge and Finje campaign.
Philanthropy
The show host has a passion for the youths and is a pioneer of Champs foundation. The Foundation was established in 2015 with the view of empowering the youths by looking at their needs, building their self esteem and empowering them so as to develop their talents.
She organized a campaign called Najijua Najiamini in which they visited various learning institutions giving speeches about self esteem.

Esther Mwende is a single mother to Blessing Champion whom she got with J Blessing. The announcement of her first pregnancy was met with a lot of backlash from netizens.
This was due to the fact that she hosted the gospel show Tukuza and people expected her to lead a pious lifestyle.
The former Tukuza host got over this and recently announced another pregnancy.
