Petanns Driving School and Computer College has built itself a name over the recent years as one of the top driving institutions in the country.
The driving school has over 100 branches spread across 15 counties. Petanns, which credits itself as the largest and most successful driving school in Kenya, is the recipient of AKI award as Best Road safety promoter, Automotive Excellence Award as the most Preferred Driving School and Digital inclusion Awards as the best Driving School in the use of Digital solutions.
It also boasts a fleet of over 300 vehicles in different vehicle categories namely; Light Motor Vehicle (Saloon Car), Mini-Bus, Trailer, Medium Truck, Forklift, Backhoe, and Motorcycles.
According to the company website, over a million students have acquired their driving licenses from Petanns since its establishment, all acquiring safe driving skills and habits in accordance with the syllabus administered by the NTSA.

He is known to his fans as Chege wa TMK and is famous for the Kikuyu song “Kwa Ngai Gutire Dustbin ya Mahoya”.
Driving Courses
Petanns is recognised and accredited by the Ministry of Transport and the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA) and disseminates knowledge in line with the rules and regulations issued by the authority.

The institutions offers numerous courses, thanks to the large diversified fleet of vehicles it has.
It offers intensive defensive training. It also has modern and regularly serviced vehicles that make the training courses worth it. It also offers free mechanical and first aid training to all students.
The Courses offered at Petanns are as follows: Basic Mechanics, First aid and fire fighting, defensive driving.

Category A2: A2 (Motorcycle not exceeding 100cc) – Ksh7,500 for 10 lessons.
CATEGORY A3: A3 (Motorcycle taxi)-tuk-tuk – Ksh7,500 for 10 lessons.
CATEGORY B: B1 (Light Passenger Car) – Ksh13500 for 20 lessons.
CATEGORY B: B3 (Professional), ADVANCED/ EXECUTIVE – Ksh10000 for 20 lessons.
CATEGORY C: C1 (Light Tracks), C (Medium tracks) – Ksh14500 for 20 lessons.
CATEGORY D: D1 VAN (PSV), D2 MINI-BUSSES (PSV) – Ksh10000 for 20 lessons.

Petanns gives big discounts for group or companies wishing to undertake corporate training. The fee must be cleared fully on the first day of driving school.
