Early Life
Phyline was born in Nairobi County in what can be described as a big family. She later moved to Western Kenya where she did both her primary and secondary education.
She holds a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Nairobi Aviation. The actress is currently pursuing her Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Career Journey
Her first job was at Microsoft in Kenya, working as a sales representative at Midcom Africa. In 2015, Phyline she joined Avenue Solutions as the telco manager.
A year later, she joined Royal Media Services as an intern at Hot96. While interning she had her first show called Club 96 on the same radio station, hosting alongside Drew Muthure, DJ Ace and Shix Kapienga.
In 2017, she joined KBC owned Y254 as a presenter, where she started as a Karaoke show host. She also worked for Premier Bet Africa before calling it quits in 2020.
She currently host Rock Tour at Y254, Bounce Nation and Chit Chat show.
AWARDS
In 2019, Phyline Jean was nominated at the Talent Preneur Awards as the most influential Talent TV host.
In 2022 she got nominated at Zikomo Awards under two categories as the Best Tv Personality of the Year and the Best Dressed Media Personality of the Year.
