The Imposing Eldoret Mansion Owned By Mediheal Founder Hon. Swarup Mishra

Dr Swarup Mishra is a renowned Kenyan politician who served as the member of parliament representing Kesses constituency from 2017 to 2022. He is the founder of Mediheal Hospital Group where he currently serves as the chairman. The politician owns a grand country home at Elgon View estate in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

The Compound

The manicured garden is inviting if not relaxing to body and mind. The former MP’s wife Dr Pallavi loves trees and flowers and this is evidenced by the sheer beauty of her garden. Speaking during an exclusive interview with Nailentei Kenga in the art of Living show that aired on KTN, Dr. Pallavi explained that she spends most of her time in the garden socializing and soaking up the sun. At the entrance are huge pillars surrounded with natural plants and interesting sculptures.

Inside the Mansion

You are first ushered to the lounge area which is complete with adorable grey and brown-black leather sofa seats imported from India, an accent wall adorned with artefacts and an outstanding unique tile art piece which was imported from China. During the interview, she revealed that her husband holds formal meetings in the lounge.

“This is like a formal sitting area where we can sit and talk to friends. It’s just that in case you want to have a meeting or you are talking something serious and you don’t want the family members to interrupt, you come to this place. Dr. Mishra likes entertaining his guests here,” she explained.

The lounge area opens up to the main living room which has a high ceiling that makes the space look bright and spacious. There are two crystal chandeliers that magnificently light up the living area increasing the beauty of the space. It has large windows that run from ceiling to floor offering spectacular views of the beautiful garden. The Italian marble floor and the grey leather sofas perfectly blend in giving the place an astounding look.

The dining area is next to the living area. There is a brown dining table that is surrounded with six white chairs where Dr. Mishra, his wife and two children can share a meal. The couple custom-made a modern and sleek kitchen with slab cabinet doors, and a granite island. It is an open plan kitchen where you can cook and talk with someone in the living room or dining area.

Upstairs

A beautiful grey and white Italian marble staircase and a magnificent chandelier leads you upstairs where you are first welcomed to the TV room. The TV area has white extra-long leather seats which, according to Dr. Pallavi, are mostly used by children who come by to enjoy their programs. There is an interior balcony where you can stand and watch everything happening in the living area.

Next to the balcony is the first bedroom which has their  wardrobes, an astounding gypsum ceiling and an enormous bed which is handcrafted from wood. The master bedroom is stunning with a huge bed, a place to relax and a study area. There is an enormous television mounted on the wall where you can enjoy your favorite program right from the bed. The master bedroom has a balcony that offers a great view of the compound which is full of plants and flowers. It has a walk-in closet and a bathroom that is covered with marbles on the floor and wall.
