Awarding winning gospel singer turned secular artist Kevin Kioko, popularly known as Bahati, has kept a low profile after his quest to become a legislator came a cropper. The artist turned politician does not share away from sharing his achievement with his followers.

WoK takes you to a tour of his multi-million mansion.

Cost

The six bedroom mansion located at Kamakis along the Eastern Bypass is worth a staggering Ksh27.5 million, according to real estate YouTuber Lillian Kahoi. The mansion has white and brown exterior as the tall windows allow adequate lighting in the stately house. The two storey building sits on a 50 by 100 piece of land and to add to its magnificence it has a sliding gate, and a well manicured lawn. The house has a detached servant’s quarter and a pergola held up by beautiful arches.

Inside the Mansion

The house has an open plan kitchen fitted with electric appliances such as a microwave, a burner, fridge, oven and a dishwasher. The walls of the kitchen and dining area are painted white with a marble countertop and ample storage to store the kitchen cutlery and cookware.

The living room is spacious with a huge flat screen TV fitted on the wall and interesting musical artworks on the wall depicting their love for music. The giant windows allow light to penetrate inside the house further accentuating space. There is a lounge area where visitors can sit and enjoy a drink next to the fireplace. It has exquisite furniture, flashy chandeliers on the ceiling and an amazing view of the stairs leading upstairs. The downstairs has a guest bedroom, a bathroom and another empty room that can be used as a home office.

Upstairs

There is a white piano just at the bottom of the spiral wooden stairs leading upstairs. The stairs are painted white with a golden touch making the place feel homely. The first room upstairs is the kids’ bedroom which is equipped with two beds. The wall is painted light pink with the beddings having multiple colors including blue and white making the place more attractive for the children.

Just next to the kid’s bedroom is the master bedroom with sky blue finishing on the walls, a wide chandelier and interesting artworks on the wall. It has a huge six by six bed and a leather couch which serves as a lounging zone. The master bedroom leads to a grand his and hers walk in closet and ensuite bathroom. Just adjacent to the master bedroom is their TV area and the kids’ play space.
