Located in Uasin Gishu county, Eldoret is the fifth most populated town in Kenya. It lies South of Cherangani Hills and has a population of 475,716 people, according to the 2019 census report. The town is often referred to as the home of champions because it houses some of the best athletes in the world. It has a cool climate and can get very cold between the months of May to August.
