Victor Kibet, the former JKUAT student who went missing on March 18 has been found.

According to the Nation, Kibet’s father Paul Mutai confirmed he spoke to his son on Friday and was well.

Kibet was allegedly abducted in Juja, Kiambu County by an unknown person.

The 23-year-old was reported to be living a lavish lifestyle despite being jobless.

He was abducted while playing a game of pool at an entertainment joint in Juja.

Eyewitnesses said he was bundled into a Subaru by unknown people whom some claimed to have been police officers.

The vehicle sped away with him followed closely by a double-cabin car behind.

Family and friends with the assistance of the police began a long search for him and desperately prayed for him to be found alive.

Kibet was known for flaunting top-of-the-range vehicles, including a 2023 Mercedes GLC 250 4 Matic.

He also owned an Audi Q7, a Subaru Forester, and a Toyota Mark X.

When questioned about his son’s wealth his father said he had no idea of the businesses Kibet ran, but he had revealed to him that he was in partnership with friends.

“My son told me he had started a business with other friends, but never told me which one,” the father said.
