Tottenham Hotspur out of favour midfielder Victor Wanyama is poised to join Galatasaray if talks between the two clubs bear fruits, reports Turkish news outlet Takvim. The Kenya national player captain has featured in only two games this season as a sub and Spurs coach Jose Mourinho is seemingly not interested in his services.

Asked about the 28 year old player possible departure from the team, Mourinho said:

“He’s our player. If he wants to leave or not, he didn’t tell me, we didn’t discuss,” …”We are calm about it. Good professional. That’s it.”

So how much will Wanyama earn on weekly wages if he joins the Turkish powerhouse?

At Tottenham, Wanyama earns £65,000 (Sh8.3 million) per week which translates to 3,380,000 (Sh436million) annually. Galatasary will most likely not match his current and he can take home at best £48,000.
