Early Life and Education
The ex-10 Over 10 host attended the Aga Khan Primary School in Kisumu before joining Chemelil Mixed Academy High School. Despite his passion for the media industry, his father wanted him to pursue a career in IT.
However, Raburu followed his passion and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science in Media at Moi University.
His career in the media industry began during his time as a media intern at K24 TV while he was in his third year at university.
After graduating, he faced multiple rejections from local TV stations before finally landing a job at Citizen TV, which marked a turning point in his career.
At Citizen TV, he hosted various shows, including the popular “TruthMeter” and “10 Over 10,” where he initially co-hosted with Joy Muthengi before taking over as the sole host.
