Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika and her wealthy husband, Sam Mburu, reside in a gigantic mansion in Ngata area, Nakuru County. Photos of Susan Kihika’s mansion first made headlines ahead of her inauguration when various politicians, including her husband, took photos in the compound.
The mansion has a beautiful exterior that offers a sight to behold. It features a maroon roof, white walls and large windows.
Kihika’s homestead has an expansive compound with well-manicured greenish lawns giving it a natural look.
The walls and pillars of the house are blended with white and sandcastle-yellow colours that complement the lush green lawns.
The expansive mansion also has a detached garage separate from the main house and connecting the two is a roofed short footpath as well as an overpass mini-footbridge that connects the upper floors of the house and rooms above the garage.
The residence also has a helipad where visitors with helicopters can land.
She was the first woman to be elected in the Nakuru top seat and the third Governor to lead the county after Lee Kinyanjui and Kinuthia Mbugua.
