Ondiro Oganga is a Kenyan born news anchor currently heading the Business Desk at the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Networks owned Ghana One TV. Her decision to move from Kenya to Ghana was inspired by the need to experience something different.
“I wanted something different. Disrupt myself and the status quo and see where that leads me. I was also ready for growth and a new challenge,” she told Kenyans.
Education
She pursued Journalism and Mass Communication- Print and Broadcast Media at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST). She has also undertaken various courses and received certificate from:

- Shandong Technical and Vocational College
- Colombia University
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Career
From June to August 2016, she served as a TV news reporter at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. A month later, she joined MMUST radio as a news reporter and anchor. In December the same year, she got a position at Pearl Magazine Africa as the head of content creation.
In August 2017, she joined Brandplus TV as a news anchor. Apart from anchoring the Daily Prime Time News, she hosted weekly business discussing macro factors affecting the regional business landscape, and pitched and wrote features on local national issues for the website and television.
In April 2019, she joined Metropol TV Kenya where she worked as a news reporter then as an anchor. During this time, she reported on a number of high profile events in Kenya including: the United Nations Summit in Nairobi, and the Covid-19 news.
In 2020, Ondiro Oganga was named Metropol TV reporter of the year and Best Feature Reporter. She also received the Media Council of Kenya ICT and Telecommunications Reporting Award.
Joining Ghana One TV
In May 2021, she joined Ghana’s GH One TV as the head of the Business Desk. As the head of Business Desk, she produces midday and prime time bulletin, anchors prime time business news, and produces and reports weekly features on technology and how it affects businesses for both the TV and radio station.
According to her linkedin account, she heads the Business desk at GHOne Television and Starr Fm Radio overseeing the production and dissemination of business news on Radio, TV and website.

We do this through timely reporting of business news, infographic presentation of data, feature stories on socio-economic issues, special reports, viral digital stories and website articles”, part of her bio reads.
