Antonio’s journey was not without its hurdles. One of the major challenges he faced was encountering sellers of fake fertilized eggs and unreliable suppliers who would take money from farmers but fail to deliver the promised chicks. Despite these setbacks, Antonio remained resilient.

He sought to build trust among his clientele and prove that genuine farmers like him could deliver on their promises. Through his dedication to quality and reliable service, he slowly gained the trust of farmers and forged strong relationships with them.

The Road to Expansion

As Antonio’s business grew, he recognized the potential in specialized breeds that were often overlooked by other farmers due to cultural beliefs. He introduced Frizzled-feathered and Naked neck birds to his farm, which he affectionately referred to as “money-makers.” These unique breeds possessed distinct qualities and were highly sought after, particularly in Tanzania.
