Benjamin Zulu is a Kenyan born life coach and psychologist based in Nairobi. He freely speaks his mind on matters of relationships without fear of contradiction and judgement.

Kenyans are enthralled by the colorful way he describes and analyzes different aspects about relationships. Whether he receives love or hate, Benjamin dishes out his words without mincing them and has definitely made a name for himself as one of the most vocal and listened to relationship life coaches in the country. Not only are his words convincing but he also adds a touch of humor here and there.

After successfully completing high school, he joined the University of Nairobi where he pursued a Bachelor’s of Laws degree (LLB) and graduated with a Law degree. Later on, he joined Daystar University and pursued a Master’s program in Clinical Psychology and International leadership. He then further improved his skills by adding life coaching to his education background.

Family

While the life coach has made a name for himself through tackling difficult subjects on relationships, he has successfully kept his private life out of the public eye. He is married with children and lives in the outskirts of Nairobi with his family. 

Career

Not much is known about whether he worked as a lawyer but his works as a counselor and a conference speaker are known to many. In 2010, he commenced his work as a counseling psychologist and worked at Douloi mentorship consultancy. He is also a well known conference speaker (with over ten years experience) implementing and sharing his wisdom and working with several organizations including Law Society of Kenya and AMREF.

Benjamin is also the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Benjamin Zulu (Ke) consultancy and runs a blog with the same name.

Benjamin can be reached through all social media platforms. He has a YouTube channel that has over forty thousand subscribers and millions of views. His channel also focuses on life coaching and relationship advice.

  • He advices men not to date women under the age of 25 as they are still immature 

In his own words:

”And I want to warn men to leave university students alone. Don’t date University girls. They’re not yet 25 and their brain and personality solidifies at 25.

You don’t know who you’re dealing with if she’s 23. First, she’s very unstable, she gets overwhelmed easily, she gets excited easily… 24 and below, leave those girls alone…. If you love your sanity, leave those girls alone.”

  • He believes a man should not marry more than one wife. In fact, he terms this as selfish since it is only to promote the man’s desires.
  • He advises men to stop sending fare. 
  • Young women dating married men are selling their dreams.
  • He advises that in a family one should not strive to succeed alone as they won’t enjoy that success.

Benjamin Zulu has been hosted by a number of local TV stations and online digital platforms owing to his views on a number of life skills.
